Saturday's Preview: The Polar Bears will be celebrating the accomplishments of three seniors today Taylor Manahan, Jamie Westenkirchner, and Kelly Sheridan ... The Polar Bears swept Wilmington on Tuesday 10-2, 8-0 ... Freshman Kirsten Lightel led the Polar Bears going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs at the plate and threw a 3-hitter with 6 strikeouts in the game 1 win ... Lightel also picked up 6 strikeouts in game 2 ... Freshman Jenna Hollar leads the Polar Bears this season from the plate with a .408 average ... She is also tied for first on the team in stolen bases with 16 .... Junior Amanda Lahti is second on the team in batting with a .407 average and two homeruns ... Freshman Gia Saturday leads the Polar Bears in RBIs with 27 and is third in runs with 15 ... Sheridan is second on the team in hits with 23 and tied for second in RBIs with 11 ... Freshman Anna Martin is first on the team in runs with 21 and tied for first in stolen bases with 16 ... The Polar Bears will return to action Monday as they travel to Anderson, Ind. to take on the Ravens.
