This Weekend's Preview: The No. 22-ranked Ohio Northern men's track and field team will compete at the Midwest Track & Field Open and Findlay Classic and Elite Throws this weekend ... Northern remained ranked No. 22 in the first weekly USTFCCCA power rankings after entering the season ranked No. 22 in the preseason power rankings ... The Findlay Classic and Elite Throws are set to being at noon 12 pm with the 60-meter dash of the men's heptathlon ... The Midwest Track & Field Open is set to kick off at 5 pm with the women's DMR ... The Polar Bears posted a third place finish last weekend at the season-opening OAC North Split meet ... Junior Ian McVey posted two first place finishes to lead Northern in the meet ... McVey and the DMR team of freshmen Jordan Green, Sam Krabacher, Travis Sutter finished first before McVey posted a first place finish in the 1,000-meter run in 2:36.79 ... Krabacher would score in the 800-meter run in 2:01.12, after posting a second place finish ... Freshman Colin McCullough finished second in 55-meter hurdles in :7.98 ... McVey and senios Matt Molinaro, Bobby Borger, and Samuel Boyd will compete in the Midwest Track & Field Open at the SPIRE Insitute ... Borger and Boyd will compete in the 5,000-meter run on Friday evening, while McVey will compete in the 3,000-meter run on Saturday and Molinaro will compete in the 1-mile run on Saturday.
