No. 22-ranked Ohio Northern Men's Track & Field competes in Day 1 of Findlay Classic and Elite Throws and Midwest Open Track & Field Open

ADA — The No. 22-ranked Ohio Northern men's track and field team competed at the Findlay Classic and Elite Throws meet and the Midwest Track and Field Open at the SPIRE Institute on Friday evening.
No team scores were kept at the meets.
Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree Spencer Schulze (St. Henry) highlighted Friday evening's meets as he posted a third place finish in the 5,000-meter run in 15:40.02.
Junior John McNutt (Ashtabula/Lakeside) also finished in the top-10 as he posted an eighth place finish in the event in 16:06.91 and sophomore Kyle Neff (Sagamore Hills/Walsh Jesuit) finished 14th overall in 17:03.13.
Senior Bobby Borger (Perrysburg) added a top-10 finish at the Midwest Track and Field Open at the SPIRE Institute as he finished eighth overall in the 5,000-meter run in 15:11.84, while fellow senior Samuel Boyd Killbuck/West Holmes) finished 31st in the event in 16:03.26.
The Polar Bears return to action tomorrow as the rest of the team competes on day two of the Findlay Classic and Elite Throws and senior Matt Molinaro (Sterling Heights, Mich./DeLaSalle) and junior Ian McVey (Stow/Munroe Falls) compete on day two of the Midwest Track & Field Open.
