Selby Wilt wins three times, leads Men's Swimming and Diving to 154-85 victory at Baldwin Wallace

ADA — Sophomore Selby Wilt (Findlay) won three events as the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team concluded the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its regular season with a 154-85 victory at Baldwin Wallace.

Meet Highlights
- Wilt won the 50 free in :21.28 and was on both of ONU's winning relay squads.
- He joined with Freshman Grayson Morgan (Clyde) and sophomores Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder) and Brady Horgan (New Richmond/McNicholas) opened the meet by winning the 200 medley relay in 1:39.04.
- Wilt, senior Charlie Spyker (Harrod/Shawnee), sophomore Isaac Reddy (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville) and Clark wrapped up the meet by winning the 400 free relay in 3:18.75.
- Junior Holden Cubberley (Celina) and sophomore Nathan Herbert (Medina/Highland) each won two individual events.
- Cubberley swept the 1-meter diving events. He won the 5-dive voluntary competition with 197.45 points and won the 6-dive optional event competition with 275.05 points.
- Herbert swept the distance free events, winning the 1000 free in 10:29.08 and the 500 free in 4:57.38.
- Horgan also won the 100 free in :48.15.
- Freshman Riley Verb (Bluffton) won the 200 breast in 2;21.37.
Notables
- The meet consisted of 13 events, including nine individual races, two relays and two diving events.
- The Polar Bears won nine of the 13 events to grab the win
- The meet is the 10th of 11 regular-season contests for Ohio Northern.
- Austin Veltman is now 31-16 in his sixth season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
