Women's Tennis falls 8-1 in Spring season opener against Hope (Mich.)

LIMA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team opened up its spring schedule on Saturday with an 8-1 loss against Hope (Mich.) indoors at the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center.

- Hope swept the three doubles courts to grab a 3-0 lead entering singles play.
- The match was scored with the Division II 7-point formula in which the winner of 2 of the 3 doubles courts wins 1 team point.
- In singles play, fifth-year senior Regan Landis (Elkhart,Ind./Concord) swept her court.
- Landis won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
