Women's Tennis wraps up fall schedule with 5-2 loss at NCAA Division II Cedarville

CEDARVILLE — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule on Tuesday with a 5-2 loss at NCAA Division II foe Cedarville at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

- Cedarville swept the three doubles courts to win the doubles point.
- The match was scored with the Division II 7-point formula in which the winner of 2 of the 3 doubles courts wins 1 team point.
- In singles play, sophomore Abby Cruser (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) and junior Julianne Sheldon (Ashtabula/Saint John) won their singles courts for ONU.
- Cruser won 2-6, 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
- Sheldon won 6-7(3), 6-1, 7-6(2) at No. 6 singles.
