BEREA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team scored scored two goals 5:18 apart midway through the second half to break a 1-1 tie and pull away for a 3-1 Ohio Athletic Conference victory over Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday night at Kerscher Stadium.

- Sophomore Haley Cannon (Oregon/Clay) led the Polar Bears with a goal and an assist.
- Junior Alexa Clampitt (Sterling Heights, Mich./Utica Academy for International Studies) got the Polar Bears on the board with 1:52 left before halftime off an assist from Cannon.
- After the Yellow Jackets tied the match at 1-1 in he 62nd minute, junior Emma Bowman (Novi, Mich./Northville) gave ONU a 2-1 lead with an unassisted goal at the 69:10 mark.

- Ohio Northern has clinched a top-four seed in the 2023 OAC Tournament with the victory. The 6-team tournament will begin with the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Oct. 31 on campus sites. ONU has clinched a home match in the quarterfinals as either the No. 3 or 4 seed.
- Clampitt's goal was her first of the season the fourth of her career.
