ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team scored clinched a spot in the 6-team Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament with a 2-0 victory at Muskingum on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the North Turf Field.

The Match
- Junior Julia Flanagan (Dublin/Watterson) got the Polar Bears on the board just 7:18 into the contest off an assist from Junior Elizabeth Pierce (Liberty Township/Mount Notre Dame).
- Senior Kylie Cabana (Dexter, Mich.) made it 2-0 in the 59th minute off an assist from junior Emma Bowman (Novi, Mich./Northville).
- Freshman Morgan Moeller (Harrison/Roger Bacon) played all 90 minutes in goal for ONU and recorded three saves to post her fourth shutout of the season.
- Ohio Northern out-shot the Muskies 28-7 and had a 5-4 edge in corner kicks.
Notables
- Ohio Northern has clinched a spot in the 2023 OAC Tournament with the victory. The 6-team tournament will begin with the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Oct. 31 on campus sites.
- Flanagan's goal was the second of her career.
- Cabana's goal was her first of the season and the 10th of her career. She now has 31 career points.
- Bowman now has 17 career assists, which is just four shy of breaking into the top 10 on the school's all-time leaderboard in that category.
