ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team scored two first-half goals and held off Wilmington in the second half to defeat the Quakers 2-1 on Wednesday night in Ohio Athletic Conference play.

- The Polar Bears opened the scoring with a goal in the ninth minute courtesy of junior Julia Flanagan (Dublin/Watterson) on an assist from junior Chandler Clark (Lima/Bath).
- Junior Alyssa Beckett (Monroe) made it a 2-0 ONU lead in the 43rd minute, scoring off of a corner kick from junior Emma Bowman (Novi, Mich./Northville).
- Trailing 2-0, the Quakers got on the scoreboard in the 57th minute thanks to a goal from Alex Wilson.
- The Polar Bears held Wilmington scoreless the rest of the way to preserve the victory.
- Beckett led ONU with four shots in the game.
- Freshman Morgan Moeller (Harrison/Roger Bacon) played all 90 minutes in goal for ONU and recorded two saves.
