Women's Golf posts third consecutive victory to remain unbeaten, wins Capital Fall Classic by 22 strokes

CANAL WINCHESTER — The Ohio Northern women's golf team remained undefeated on the season, winning its third consecutive tournament, by claiming the Capital Fall Classic Sunday and Monday at the Westchester Golf Course.

- Junior Marisa Alfes (Bellbrook) finished second of 14 golfers with a 36-hole career-low 76-74—150.
- Junior Rhianna Firmstone (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) tied for fourth with an 80-80—160.
- Senior Torrie Smith (Kokomo, Ind./Western) was ninth with an 86-84—170.
- Junior Amelia Burger (Centerville) was 10th with an 86-85—171.
- ONU head coach Chad Bucci is now 412-254-2 in his 11th season at the helm.
