Mackenzie Suprano posts career-high 18 points to lead Women's Basketball to a 78-50 victory over Heidelberg

TIFFIN — Sophomore Mackenzie Suprano (Cutler/Waterford) scored a career-high 18 points to lead the Ohio Northern women's basketball team to a 78-50 victory at Heidelberg on Wednesday evening.

- Fifth-year senior All-American Brynn Serbin (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) posted nine rebounds, six assists, and five points.
- Senior Grace Dean (Avon/Lake) grabbed six rebounds.
- Cheyanne Bean led the Student Princes with 18 points.
- Ohio Northern led 21-15 at the end of the 1st quarter, 40-26 at halftime and 56-38 after three quarters.
- The Polar Bears put the game away by out-scoring the Student Princes 22-12 in the 4th quarter.
- Ohio Northern made 30-of-68 field goals for 44.1% and was 13-of-32 from beyond the arc for 40.6%, while HU was 20-of-49 from the floor for 40.8% and made 7-of-22 3-pointers for 31.8%.
- ONU made 5-of-6 free throws for 83.3%, and HU was 3-of-7 from the line for 42.9%.
- The Polar Bears out-rebounded the Student Princes by a 46-24 margin.
