Men's Tennis notches 7-2 victory indoors at Wooster

LEXINGTON — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team defeated Wooster 7-2 indoors on Saturday afternoon.

- Junior Sam Sran (Punjab, India/St. Stephens), Sophomore T.J. Schultz (Grand Blanc, Mich.), freshman Kessler Hackenberger (Tipp City/Tippecanoe), and freshman Tyler Wood (Toldeo/St. John's Jesuit) each led Ohio Northern with a 2-0 record on the day
- The Polar Bears swept the doubles courts to enter the singles play ahead 3-0.
- Schultz and Sran won 8-4 at No. 1 to give ONU a 1-0 lead.
- Specht and Wood won at No. 2 doubles 8-6 and Northern led 2-0.
- Junior Drew Swisher (Findlay) and Hackenberger won at No. 3 doubles 8-4 to round out doubles play with a 3-0 sweep.
- Sran, Schultz, Hackenberger, and Wood came out victorious in singles play, winning four of the six matches.
