Beaschler, Garcia lead Men's Tennis at Oberlin Invitational

OBERLIN — Sophomore Zach Beaschler (Ada) and freshman Matt Garcia (Downers Grove, Ill./South) led the Ohio Northern men's tennis team at the non-scoring Oberlin Invitational Saturday and Sunday at the Hunsinger Courts.
Both men went 4-2 on the weekend, posting 2-1 records in both singles and doubles play.
Beaschler coupled with sophomore Noah Elliott (Hilliard/Davidson) and Garcia joined sophomore Andrew Cochran (Wooster) in doubles play.
Sophomore Nate Meadors (Dublin/Jerome) also went 2-1 in singles action and junior Hoang Do (Powell/Olentangy/Liberty) and freshman Gian Perusini (Rome, Italy) won one singles match each.
The Polar Bears will return to action next Saturday at the Allegheny (Pa.) Invitational.
