Men's Swimming and Diving drops Senior Day tilt to Mount Union 176.5-111.5

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team fell to Mount Union 176.5-111.5 in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.

Meet Highlights
- Junior Brady Horgan (New Richmond/McNicholas) and freshman Nathan Herbert (Medina/Highland) each won swimming events to lead the Polar Bears.
- Horgan won the 50 free in :21.44 and Herbert won the 1000 free in 10;14.31.
- Junior Holden Cubberley (Celina) swept the 1- and 3-meter diving events. He won the 1-meter competition with 276.25 points for six dives and won the 3-meter event with 269.55 points for six dives.
- Horgan combined with sophomores Aiden Magoolaghan (Hinckley/Highland), Tyler Edmonds (Youngsville, La./Southside) and Long Huynh (Billings, Mt./West) to win the 200 medley relay in 1:40.76.

- The meet consisted of 16 events, including nine individual races, two relays and two diving events.
- The meet is the eighth of 11 regular-season contests for Ohio Northern.
- Northern won 5 of the 16 events.
- Austin Veltman is now 28-16 in his sixth season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
