No. 19 Men's Swimming & Diving sweeps all events in 231-44 win over Baldwin Wallace to claim 7th straight OAC Regular Season title

ADA -- The No. 19 Ohio Northern men's swimming & diving team won all 16 events in a 231-44 victory over Baldwin Wallace on Saturday afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears improve to 9-1 and remain perfect with a 5-0 mark in the OAC, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 2-8, 2-3.
The win also gives ONU its seventh consecutive OAC Regular Season Championship and gives them the Golden Kickboard.
The Polar Bears were lead by a host of swimmers who won multiple races.
Junior Christian Garlock won both the 100 and 200 Freestyle with times of 48.56 and 1:47.76 respectively, and was part of a first place relay team.
Freshman Jacob Croasdell won the 1650 and 500 Freestyle with times of 17:38.38 and 4:59.83 respectively, while junior John Beaschler won the 50 Freestyle with a time of 22.08.
Freshman Fabio Napolitano Jacob won the 100 Backstroke in 56.52, and sophomore Brain Heilbronner won the 200 Backstroke in 2:01.09.
Senior Drew Keriazes won the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:13.83, and sophomore Jason Luthman won the 100 Breaststroke in 1:03.77.
The 100 Butterfly was won by senior Marc Anderson in 51.65, while junior Jordan Breitigam took the 200 Butterfly in a time of 1:57.85.
Sophomore Spencer Franzoi won the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:28.53.
Freshman Tyler Siefring won both the 1 Meter and 3 Meter diving with scores of 213.35 and 157.85, respectively.
The 200 Medley Relay team consisting of Anderson, Keriazes, Breitigam and Beaschler won in a time of 1:37.66, and the 400 Freestyle Relay team consisting of Keriazes, Garlock, Beaschler and Heilbronner won in 3:21.86.
"It was a great weekend swimming back to back and we had a good team meet," said head coach Peggy Ewald. "We pulled together with all the extras going on with the Golden Kickboard, Senior Day and Swim for Cystic Fibrosis. Now we have to get ready for OAC Championships."
The Polar Bears will be in the pool again next Friday when they head to Notre Dame (Ohio) for a 6 pm swim meet.
