Men's Soccer to open NCAA III Tournament on Saturday at Lynchburg (Va.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team will travel to Lynchburg (Va.) for the first two rounds of the 2023 NCAA III Tournament on Saturday.
Northern will play host Lynchburg (15-3-2) in the first round at 3:30 pm Shellenberger Field.
No. 1-ranked Messiah (Pa.) (19-0-1) and Baruch (N.Y.) (9-6-0) will play in the other first round match on Saturday at 1 pm.
The two winners will play in the second round on Sunday at 3 pm.
The Polar Bears (12-5-3 overall) are making their tenth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
Ohio Northern earned an automatic to the tournament after winning the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament title with a 3-1 victory at No. 25-ranked Otterbein.
The Hornets (15-3-2) earned the automatic bid from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference with a 3-1 victory in the ODAC Tournament finals at Washington & Lee (Va.)
Messiah won th automatic bid from the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth with a 3-0 victory over Widener (Pa.) in the MACC Tournament finals.
Baruch won the City University of New York Athletic Conference automatic bid with a 2-0 victory Brooklyn (N.Y.) College.
