ADA — Junior Sebastian Michaud (Springboro) scored Ohio Northern's first three goals and later added two assists to lead the men's lacrosse team to a 16-7 victory over Alma (Mich.) on a sunny and crisp Saturday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
The Polar Bears (1-0 overall) won their season opener for the sixth time in the eight-year history of the program.
Junior John Lynn (Cincinnati/Sycamore) added two goals and two assists for four points and senior Riley O'Neal (Dumfries, Va./Forest Park) had a goal and two assists for three points for ONU.

After AC tied it at the 3:12 mark of the opening period, Michaud and O'Neal combined for another goal with 1:33 remaining to put Ohio Northern ahead for good.
Michaud made it 3-1 just 45 seconds into the second quarter and the Polar Bears would turn it on from there.
