Nolan Kimberly ties for second, leads Men's Golf at Pioneer Classic 2

WEST LAFAYETTE — Junior Nolan Kimberly (Zanesville) tied for second out of 38 golfers to lead the Ohio Northern men's golf at the Pioneer Classic 2 on Sunday at River Greens Golf Course.
The Polar Bears (0-5-1 overall) finished fourth of four teams in a tightly contested team battle with 316 strokes.
Marietta won the team title with a 312 and Muskingum and Otterbein tied for second with 314s.
Kmiberly fired a 3-over par 75 on the 6500-yard, par-72 course.
Sophomore Josh Steyer (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) tied for seventh with a 78, junior Jared Hernandez (Van Wert) tied for 12th with a 79, junior Austin White (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) tied for 29th with an 84 and junior Andrew Slusher (Covington) tied for 32nd with an 86.
Marietta's Austin Meese won Medalist honors with a 74.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Monday at the Muskingum Invitational at the Zanesville Country Club.
