Men's Bowling finishes 7th of 11 at Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate Classic

GREENSBURG, Pa. — The Ohio Northern men's bowling team finished seventh of 11 teams on Saturday at the Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate Classic.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 7th of 11 teams with 6,169 pins.
- Venue: Hillview Lanes — Whitehall, Pa.
The Tournament
- ONU defeated Kent State-Tumbull (6085), Akron (6043), Penn State University Park (5821) and Tiffin (5096).
- The tournament consisted of four team games and 16 Baker games.
- Shawnee State won the team title with 7364 pins.
- Individually, freshman Nolan Caban (Dayton/Centerville) led the Polar Bears 742 pins in his four games. He finished 21st of 98 bowlers overall and had a high game of 203 and an average of 185.5
- Freshman Lukas Dunbar (Orient/Teays Valley) knocked down 720 pins to finish 30th with a high game of 205 and averaged 180.0.
- Freshman Brock Miller (Hudson) was 40th with 681 pins, a high game of 207 and an average of 170.3.
Notables
- This was the seventh of 10 events for the polar Bears in their inaugural season.
- First-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
