Men's Basketball defeats Adrian (Mich.) 82-59 in home opener

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team got double-figure scoring efforts from a trio of starters in an 82-59 win over Adrian (Mich.) in the Polar Bears' 2023-24 home opener on Wednesday evening.

- Sophomore Will Miller (Ottoville) led ONU in scoring with 13 points to go with four steals, three assists and two rebounds.
- Freshman Cayden Jacoby (Pettisville) tallied 12 points and five rebounds.
- Senior Carson Conley (Newark/Licking Valley) rounded out ONU's double-figure scorers with 11 points.
- Sophomore Mason Studer (Galion/Colonel Crawford) and freshman Noah Langford (Perrysburg/Toledo Central Catholic) scored nine points each.
- DJ Morrow led the Bulldogs with 12 points.
- The teams made a combined 12 3-pointers in the first half, as ONU was 5-of-17 and Adrian was 7-of-15 from beyond the arc.
- Northern led 36-31 at halftime and opened the second-half scoring with a 3-pointer from Conley for a 39-31 edge.
- Layups from Studer and Miller put ONU up 12, 48-36, with 15:28 left.
- A 3-pointer from Langford made it 57-42 with 12:04 left, and the Bulldogs got no closer than nine points the rest of the way.
