Brennon Norris, Dalton Tjong named OAC Football Players of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern junior quarterback Brennon Norris (Stuebenville/Indian Creek) and junior safety Dalton Tjong (Cumming, Ga./West Forsyth) were named Ohio Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week for the week of Nov. 6-12.
Norris was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Tjong was named the Defensive Player of the Week for their efforts in ONU's 38-14 season-ending victory at Wilmington.
It was the second such honor for each man this season.
Norris completed 15-of-24 yards passing for 250 yards and three touchdowns. he also ran four times for 29 yards.
Norris ended his first season as a Polar Bear going 130-for-239 passing for 1,506 yards and 16 touchdowns.
He was also named OAC Player of the Week on 9/11/23.
Tjong had a team-high 15 tackles for the ONU defense, which limited WC to only 239 yards in the contest, nearly 200 yards under its season average.
He led the nation in tackles this regular season with 122, an average of 12.2 per game. He also ranks 7th all-time in ONU history with 291 career stops in just 29 career games, an average of 10.0 per contest.
The Polar Bears finished the 2023 season 4-6 overall and were sixth in the OAC with a 4-5 league record.
