Dan Belliveau, Nick Eltzroth named Second Team All-Mideast Region by D3baseball.com

ADA — Senior outfielder Dan Belliveau and junior utility player Nick Eltzroth were named Second Team All-Mideast Region by D3baseball.com.

Belliveau and Eltzroth earn their second All-Mideast Region honor.

Belliveau led the team in hits (54), RBIs (50), and batting average (.367) during the 2015 season.

 He has started 152 of 153 games in his career, primarily in right field.

The First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree is first all-time in ONU school history in career triples (15), first in at-bats (580), second in RBIs (149), second in hits (196), and sixth in doubles (33).

Eltzroth led the Polar Bears from the mound with 66.0 innings pitched, 51 strikeouts, and a 3.41 ERA.

He is eight all-time in ONU school history in triples with 10 and joined the 100 hit club during the 2015 season with 101 hits.

The junior is also a member of the 100k club with 107, 21st all-time in school histroy.

Under fourth year head coach Gene Stechschulte, the Polar Bears went 30-9 with a 12-6 mark in the OAC.
