Baseball moves up to No. 16 in D3baseball.com poll; Now ranked No. 29 by ABCA

ADA – The Ohio Northern baseball team moved up four spots to No. 16 nationally in the 11th weekly D3baseball.com poll, released Tuesday.
The Polar Bears (30-9 overall) are also ranked No. 29 nationally in the ninth weekly American Baseball Coaches Association Division III poll.
Northern received 202 votes in the D3baseball.com poll, which was 54 more than last week when ONU was ranked No. 20.
The Polar Bears were ranked No. 22 in the ninth poll, were No. 23 in the eighth poll, were No. 25 in the seventh poll and were No. 23 in the sixth poll.
ONU received 24 votes in the ABCA poll, which was good for 29th. It marks the first time this season that ONU has cracked into the top-30 of the ABCA poll.
Cortland State (N.Y.) is No. 1, Frostburg State (Md.) is No. 2 and Wisconsin-Whitewater is No. 3 in both polls for the second consecutive week.
The Polar Bears finished their regular season and are waiting until Sunday night to see if they will receive a bid to participate in the NCAA III Tournament.
