No. 12-ranked Volleyball to face Aurora (Ill.) in First Round of NCAA III Tournament in Grand Rapids, Mich.

ADA — The No. 12-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team will travel to Grand Rapids, Mich., to face Aurora (Ill.) in the First Round of the 2019 NCAA III Tournament at 5:30 pm on Thursday at Van Noord Arena.
The Polar Bears (26-5 overall) are making their 32nd NCAA Tournament appearance in the 40-year history of the event.
Ohio Northern qualified for the NCAA Tournament by winning the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournamewnt title in a thrilling 5-set victory over Otterbein, giving ONU the league's automatic bid.
Aurora (23-10) won the automatic bid of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference by winning the NACC Tournament title with a sweep of Concordia (Wis.) in the finals.
The ONU-AU winner will face either No. 3-ranked and tournament host Calvin (Mich.) or DePauw (Ind.) in the second round on Friday at 7 pm.
The regional finals will be held on Saturday at 7 pm.
Other first round opponents include No. 10 Hope (Mich.) against Texas-Dallas at 12:30 pm and No. 11 Muskingum playing Wittenberg at 3 pm.
