Four Polar Bears named to OAC Women’s Soccer All-Tournament Team

ADA — Ohio Northern seniors Becky Moss (Lebanon/Mount Notre Dame), Jane Reiring (Cincinnati/Country Day) and Kylie Brown (Jamestown, N.Y./Southwestern Central) and junior Jill Roberts (Bellbrook/Carroll) were named to the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team, which was released by the league on Monday.
The Polar Bears (13-1-5) won the OAC Tournament for the second straight year on Saturday with a 1-0 win at Capital after advancing past Otterbein on penalty kicks in the semifinals.
Moss played all 200 minutes in goal in those games, making a combined eight saves and increasing her shutout total to 14 on the season.
Reiring was part of an ONU defense that allowed just eight shots on goal in the tournament.
Brown and Roberts combined for the winning score against Capital.
Roberts' goal came on an assist from Brown in the 61st minute of the championship game.
As a conference champion, the Polar Bears earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament and will play Rose-Hulman (Ind.) at host Loras (Iowa) in the first round on Saturday.
