Women's Soccer to open 2020 schedule Sept. 1 with home match against Trine (Ind.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team will open its 2020 season on Sept. 1 with a home match against Trine (Ind.) at Kerscher Stadium under 17th-year head coach Mark Batman.
The Polar Bears will play at Calvin (Mich.) on Sept. 5 and will host Olivet (Mich.) on Sept. 8.
Northern will then head to Texas Sept. 11-12 to face Hardin-Simmons (Tex.) and Mary Hardin-Baylor (Tex.) in a pair of high-profile road matches.
ONU will wrap up its non-conference schedule with a 4-match home stand against Ohio Wesleyan (Sept. 19), Denison (Sept. 22), Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) (Sept. 25) and Case Western Reserve (Sept. 29).
Ohio Northern kicks off the conference season with a home contest against Marietta on October 3, to complete what will be a 5-match home stand.
Additionally, the Orange and Black are scheduled to host Wilmington, Heidelberg, and Capital in conference action. During league play, the Polar Bears will make trips to Baldwin Wallace, Muskingum, John Carroll, Otterbein, and Mount Union.
The Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament will run from Nov. 3-7 at campus sites.
Ohio Northern went 18-3-3 overall, won the OAC Regular Season title with a 9-0-0 league mark, won the OAC Tournament title and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2019.
