UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — Frashman Maddie Storr scored four goals and dished out two assists to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team in a 20-9 loss at John Carroll on Saturday at Don Shula Stadium.
The Polar Bears wrap up their inaurgural season at 7-9 overall and 2-5 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Blue Streaks improve to 11-4, 5-2.
JCU scored the game's first five goals, but Storr scored twice and freshman Maggie Fuller added one of her three goals as ONU pulled within 6-3 with 14:43 left in the first half.
But the Blue Streaks scored the next seven goals to take control.
JCU out-shot ONU 33-21 and had a 22-9 advantage in draw controls.
Sophomore Shannen Larsen Van Alstine had seven saves in goal for Ohio Northern.
