This Weekend's Series: The Polar Bears will continue the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of their 2021 season with a four-game series with Marietta this weekend ... ONU and MC will play twice in Marietta on Saturday and twice in Ada on Sunday ... A limited number of spectators will be allowed to attend the games based on the OAC's COVID-19 policy ... Each player will receive two admissions each game ... No tickets will be available to the general public ... The OAC eliminated non-conference games for 2021 and adopted a 36-game, double round-robin league schedule ... The teams will play home-and-home series of DHs each Saturday and Sunday from March 13-May 9 with the OAC Tournament May 14-15 ... Senior Gabby Stewart ranks 10th on ONU's all-time career hits list with 161, is seventh with 14 home runs and 113 RBI and is eighth with 39 doubles ... The Polar Bears will be in action next weekend with a 4-game series against John Carroll ... Marietta enters this weekend's series after being swept by Mount Union last weekend ... MC lost a pair of 10-2 games at MtU on Saturday and fell 9-1 and 7-6 at home on Sunday ... Rachel Kazmirski leads the Pioneers in batting at .417 and has a team-high 3 RBI ... Kylie Daugherty is second in batting at .400 ... Kazmirski also leads the pitching staff with a 6.56 ERA and two strikeouts in her two games in the circle.
