Bio

Jason Fisher is in his fifth season as an assistant coach for men’s and women’s track and field in 2024.

Fisher works primarily with the throwers.

In 2022 and 2023, Fisher helped coach Keegan Digby to back-to-back Ohio Athletic Conference titles in the indoor and outdoor shot put events. Digby owns three All-American accolades, placing seventh at the NCAAs in the 2022 outdoor shot put, fourth in the 2023 indoor shot put and sixth in the 2023 outdoor shot put. Digby was named the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Region Field Athlete of the Year for both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2023.

Fisher also helped coach Izzy Burman to OAC championships and USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the indoor weight throw and shot put in 2023.

He came to ONU in 2020 after four seasons as a throws coach for Bluffton University and two more as a throws coach at Parkway High School.

Fisher was a four-year letterman in track and field at Bluffton, earning All-Conference accolades in track and field and football for the Beavers.

He received his bachelor's degree in sports management from Bluffton in 2011.
