Friday-Saturday's Meet: The Ohio Northern men's indoor track and field team boasts a couple representatives at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships … Sophomores Andrew Buderer and Nate Dean will both compete inside the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. … Buderer is scheduled to pole vault Friday at 11 a.m. … Dean will participate in the 200-meter dash preliminary race Friday at 5:05 p.m. with the top-eight times advancing to finals Saturday at 4:10 p.m. … Buderer enters his first-ever National Championships with the country's ninth-best vault this season of 4.85 meters … He set that mark at the Hillsdale (Mich.) Wide Track Classic Feb. 7 … Buderer is fresh off an Ohio Athletic Conference Championship meet where he stood atop the podium with a vault of 4.69 meters … That finish marked the third time this season that Buderer won the pole vault event … Dean will be making his second consecutive trip to the National Championships … He competed in the 400-meter dash a season ago, placing 17th with a time of 49.93 seconds … Dean currently holds the nation's 12th-best 200-meter time of 22.09 … He recorded that time at the OAC Championships, a race in which he finished second … Dean lays claim to a team-best four individual victories this season.
