Dan Arkin, Emily Richards earn All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

CANTON, N.Y. — Sophomore Dan Arkin and freshman Emily Richards both earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships Saturday afternoon at the Merrick-Pinkard Track on the campus of St. Lawrence University.
Richards competed in her second NCAA Track & Field Championships, while Arkin competed in his first.
Arkin earned All-American honors in the javelin with a 7th place finish and a throw of 201'01".
In women's track & field, Richards earned All-American honors in the 800-meter run with a 7th place finish and a time of 2:11.30.
Richards qualified for the finals on Firday evening with a time of 2:11.17.
The ONU men's track & field team concluded its outdoor season 57-5 overall, 2nd in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the women's track & field team finished 52-10 overall and 3rd in the OAC.
