Freshman Matt Molinaro leads men’s indoor Track and Field Team to a fourth place finish at the All-Ohio DIII Championship Meet

ADA - The Ohio Northern men's track and field team placed fourth in the All Ohio DIII Track and Field Championships at Otterbein University's Rike Center in Westerville on Saturday.
The Polar Bears (37-4 overall) finished with 53 points.
Mount Union won the meet with 141 points, Ohio Wesleyan was second with 127 points and John Carroll was third with 72 points.
Freshman Matt Molinaro won the 800-meter run in 1:55.12, breaking his own freshman record of 1:55.58.
His time remains the second-fastest in school history.
Sophomore Andrew Harden and senior Kyle Wagner were second and fourth, respectively, in the mile.
Harden finished in 4:24.12 and Wagner in 4:28.76.
Senior Ryan Brancheau placed fourth in the high jump, recording a jump of 6'4.75".
Sophomore Lucas Shumate placed fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 53'9.75".
The Polar Bears will return to competition on February 21 at the Last Call meet at Capital University.
