Men's Tennis sweeps Muskingum, Mt. St. Joseph by 9-0 counts

Senior John Mostowy went 4-0 on the day, winning twice at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, to lead the Ohio Northern men's tennis team to 9-0 victories over Muskingum and Mount Saint Joseph on Saturday.
The Polar Bears (4-10 overall, 1-3 OAC) began the day with a 9-0 win over Muskingum (0-9, 0-5) as part of the OAC Tennis Fest at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason.
Northern then traveled to Mt. St. Joseph and defeated the Lions (5-11 overall) 9-0 at the MSJ Tennis Courts in Cincinnati.
Freshman Tim Kargl won twice at No. 2 singles and joined Mostowy for a pair of wins at No.1 doubles.
Freshman David Hayman was 2-0 at No. 3 singles, freshman Jake Abbott was 2-0 at No. 4 singles, sophomore Nate Knodel was 2-0 at No. 5 singles and freshman Lance Brown was 2-0 at No. 6 singles.
Junior Alex Genbauffe and Hayman were 2-0 at No. 2 doubles and junior Dan Warren combined with Abbott to go 2-0 at No. 3 doubles.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their weekend of competition on Sunday morning with a 9 am match against OAC foe Marietta at the Lindner Tennis Center.
