BEXLEY — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team saw its season come to an end with a 5-0 loss at Capital in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Men's tennis Tournament Tuesday afternoon at the CU Courts.
The sixth-seeded Polar Bears end their season with a 6-11 record, while the third-seeded Crusaders advance to the semifinals on Friday at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason against second-seeded Otterbein.
Senior Sam Prewitt and junior John Mostowy led ONU with a tight 8-5 loss at No. 1 doubles.
CU won 8-2 and No. 2 doubles and 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.
The Crusaders then wrapped up the match with wins at Nos. 5 and 6 singles.
