Tamika Washington is one of the top sprinters in Ohio Northern history, earning All-America honors as a freshman in 1997.
She was a three-time NCAA qualifier - finishing fifth, eighth and ninth back in a time when only the top six earned All-America honors.
Washington also won the Ohio Athletic Conference title in the 55-meter dash three consecutive years from 1997-99.
She is still the ONU record holder in the 55-meter dash, posting a career-best 7.26 seconds time in 1997.
Washington gradtaued from Ohio Northern in 2001 with a bachelor of arts degree.
