Three-time All-American Liz Schnelle is the only ONU player to lead the Volleyball team in kills in four consecutive seasons, including a school record 592 kills in 2008 when the Polar Bears reached the Final Four of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
She is ONU's second 3-time All-American, being named 1st Team All-America in 2008 and 2009 and 3rd Team All-America in 2007.
Schnelle is still ONU's all-time career leader in kills with 2,222 and hitting percentage at .367.
Schnelle was also a four-time All-OAC honoree, earning First team honors three times. She was also a two-time OAC Player of the Year on 2008 and 2009 and was the OAC Freshman of the Year in 2006.
In her four seasons, Ohio Northern went 120-25 overall, won four Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament titles and three OAC Regular Season crowns.
The Polar Bears made four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances with one Final Four and two more Sweet 16 appearances from 2006-09.
