Sophomore Emily Richards wins OAC Individual crown, leads Women's Cross Country to a 4th place finish at the OAC Championships

BEREA — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team finished fourth of 10 teams at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships held at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday afternoon on the Wallace Lake Course.
The Polar Bears (72-29 overall) finished with 78 points.
Sophomore Emily Richards won the OAC Individual title, winning the race out of 136 runners in 21:56.7 over the 6,000-meter course.
The sophomore earned First Team All-OAC honors for her efforts.
"As a team we ran really well," ONU head coach Jason Maus said. "I'm proud of our effort. Emily's race was amazing, I am so happy for her. We had many runners step up today."
