Junior Erin Wagner named OAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Junior Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 30 to Nov. 5.
This marks Wagner's second OAC Player of the Week honor this season and the third of her career.
The latest recognition comes after Wagner totaled 27 kills and hit .390 in a 3-1 win over Denison and a 3-1 loss to Wittenberg on Saturday.
She had 14 kills and hit .419 against Denison and added 13 kills while hitting .357 against Wittenberg.
Named to the 2023 All-OAC First Team on Monday, Wagner leads the conference in hitting percentage (.333) and ranks second in kills per set (3.42) and third in total kills (332) this season. She also has 62 blocks.
In three seasons at ONU, Wagner is hitting .305, which ranks seventh in program history. She has 771 kills, 117 digs and 161 blocks in 72 career matches.
The Polar Bears (16-9 overall) are the No. 4 seed in this week's OAC Tournament and will host fifth-seeded John Carroll in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
