Saturday's Preview: The No. 12-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team won its fourth consecutive OAC Regular Season title in 2019 ... The Polar Bears own the No. 1 seed in this year's OAC Tournament after tying with Muskingum in the regular season standings ... ONU advanced to the OAC Tournament Finals for the 28th time in the 36-year history of the tournament with a 23-25, 25-18, 25-9, 25-8 victory over fifth-seeded Baldwin Wallace in the semifinals on Thursday ... Senior McKenna Jordan had a match-high 16 kills, senior All-American Chelsea Huppert had 15 kills and four blocks and senior Sydney Bapst had 12 kills for ONU. ... Huppert is third in the OAC with a 1.01 bps average and is second with a .345 hitting percentage ... She also leads the team with 320 kills ... Huppert is 3rd all-time in ONU history with a career .339 hitting pct. and 124 career block solos, is 4th with 389 total blocks and is 6th with 1,345 kills ... Freshman Madison Kern leads the OAC with 1.05 bps and is second with 107 blocks ... Jordan is second on the team with 241 kills this season ... She has 1,162 career kills and needs just 14 more to get into ONU's all-time top 10 list in the category ... Senior McKenna Hostetler leads the team and the OAC with 645 digs ... She ranks 4th all-time at ONU with career 2,060 digs ... ONU is 113-14 against unranked opponents in the past 5 seasons, a winning percentage of .890 ... ONU leads the OAC with 244 blocks, a 2.14 bps average and 2,212 digs this year ... Otterbein is making its third appearance in the OAC Tournament finals and is a perfect 2-0, winning in 2012 and 2017 ... Third-seeded OU reached the finals with a 25-21, 25-15, 25-19 victory at second-seeded Muskingum on Thursday ... Junior Emily Shuk led a balanced Otterbein attack with nine kills while junior Tate Eppard, freshman Amber Greeley and junior Dasha Bruyako all had seven each ...
