Huppert, Jordan, Ellis named All-Conference in Volleyball for 2018

ADA — Ohio Northern juniors Chelsea Huppert (Bremen, Ind.) and McKenna Jordan (Toledo/St. Ursula) and freshman Madi Ellis (Delphos/St. John's) were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in volleyball for the 2018 season in voting conducted by the league's 10 coaches.
Huppert was named to the First Team, while Jordan and Ellis were Second Team selections.
Ellis was also named the OAC Freshman of the Year.
Huppert is now a three-time All-OAC honoree as a middle hitter and is making her second consecutive appearance on the First Team.
Huppert leads the team and is third in the OAC with 361 kills and leads the team and is second in the OAC with a .350 hitting percentage this season.
Last season, she was named First Team All-Great Lakes Region and an Honorable Mention All-America by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
In 95 career matches, Huppert has 1,018 kills, 285 blocks and a .341 hitting percentage.
Jordan is also a three-time All-OAC honoree and is making her second appearance on the Second Team.
She is 10th in the OAC with 270 kills as an outside hitter this season.
She was also named the OAC Freshman of the Year in 2016.
Ellis was third on the team and 17th in the OAC with 219 kills this season.
She is also fourth in the league with a .324 hitting percentage and has 56 blocks this year.
The Polar Bears are 22-7 overall, shared the OAC Regular Season title with an 8-1 league record and won their league record 20th OAC Tournament title.
