Volleyball moves up five spots to No. 15 in third weekly AVCA poll

ADA – Ohio Northern moved up five spots to No. 15 in the third weekly American Volleyball Coaches Association poll on Tuesday.
Northern received 723 points in the poll, 328 more than the 395 total points it received when ranked No. 20 in last week's poll.
ONU was ranked No. 18 in the first weekly poll and was No. 19 in the preseason poll.
The Polar Bears are coming off a 3-1 week with victories over area-rival Bluffton, then-#17 Hope (Mich.) and Mary Washington (Va.) and a 4-game loss to then-No. 4 Wittenberg.
Calvin (Mich.) is atop the poll with 1735 points and 59 first place votes, Colorado College is second with 1679 points and nine first place votes and Wittenberg is third with 1596 points and two first place votes.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Kenyon for a 7 pm match.
