Volleyball ranked No. 20 in second weekly AVCA poll

ADA – Ohio Northern is ranked No. 20 in the second weekly American Volleyball Coaches Association poll on Tuesday. 

Northern received 395 points in the poll, 102 less than the 497 total points it received when ranked No. 18 in last week's poll. 

ONU was also ranked No. 19 in the AVCA preseason poll.

The Polar Bears are coming off a 3-1 week with victories over Denison, DePauw (Ind.) and Bluffton and a loss to then-No. 23 Thomas More (Ky.)

Calvin (Mich.) is atop the poll with 1721 points and 54 first place votes, Colorado College is second with 1678 points and 13 first place votes and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Calif.) is third with 1571 points and one first place vote.

The Polar Bears will return to action on Tiesday when they host area-rival Bluffton at 7 pm at the ONU Sports Center.
