The Polar Bears defeated Heidelberg in a 5-set thriller in 2016 to claims its first OAC Tournament Title since 2009 ... Northern enters the contest after sweeping Marietta 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the OAC Tournament ... Sophomore McKenna Jordan's 11 kills led the team offensively, while freshman Katie Wade dished out a game-high 31 assists and senior Megan Nieszala recorded a team-best 12 digs ... Sophomore Chelsea Huppert currently leads the team and is third in the OAC with 355 kills, while Jordan is second on the team and fifth in the OAC with 339 kills ... Wade currently leads the team and ranks second in the OAC with 1,191 assists, the second best freshman mark in the category in ONU history ... Nieszala currently leads the team and ranks second in the OAC with 535 digs ... Huppert leads the OAC with 114 total blocks, while senior Haley Potter ranks second in the conference with 100 blocks ... Potters' 37 service aces currently ranks second in the conference ...
