This Weekend's Preview: The No. 22-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team enters this weekends tournament winners of six of its last seven matches ... ONU will open the tournament with a battle against Mt. St. Joseph at 4 pm before wrapping up the first day against at 8 pm against Hanover (Ind.) ... On the second day of the tournament, Northern will take on Defiance at 10 am before finishing the tournament with a contest against area-rival Bluffton at 2 pm ... Northern is coming off of a 3-1 victory over Kenyon at the ONU Sports Center on Wednesday evening ... In that contest senior Haley Potters tied a career-high with 20 kills and sophomore McKenna Jordan had 18 kills to lead ONU ... The Polar Bears also got 13 kills from sophomore Chelsea Huppert and 57 assists from freshman Katie Wade ... Through 13 matches this season, Jordan and Hupper rank 1-2 on the team with 172 and 169 kills, respectively ... The duo ranks 3-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference in kills ... Huppert also leads the team and OAC with 208.5 points, while Jordan is second on the team and fourth in the OAC with 183.5 points ... Wade currently ranks first on the team and in the OAC with 563 assists ... Senior Megan Nieszala ranks first on the team and in the conference with 295 digs, while sophomore McKenna Hostetler ranks second on the team and fifth in the OAC with 216 digs ... Defensively, Huppert leads the team and OAC in blocks solo (19), block assists (39) and total blocks (58) ... Potters currently ranks second on the team and OAC with 11 blocks solo is third in the OAC with 33 block assists and is tied for second in the conference with 44 total blocks ... Junior Michaela Sharlow and Hostetler currently rank first on the team and fifth in the OAC with 17 service aces ... With 563 assist this season, Wade already ranks fifth all-time at ONU in assists for a freshman, and is 122 assists shy of tying for fourth place all-time at ONU.

All-Time Series: Northern trails Mount St. Joseph in the all-time series by a 22-34 margin, while they lead the all-time series against Hanover by a 13-1 mark ... ONU is a perfect 37-0 all-time against Defiance and is 62-13 all-time against Bluffton, including a 3-0 sweep at Bluffton earlier this season.
