Tuesday's Match: Tuesday's contest is the season opener for both teams ... The Polar Bears return five starters and nine letter-winners from last year's squad that went 19-10 overall and finished fifth in the OAC with a 6-3 league mark ... Denison went 15-13 overall last year and finished fifth in the NCAC with a 4-4 league record ... ONU returns four All-OAC honorees from last year's team, led by senior outside hitter Ellie Gillespie and senior middle hitter Kaitlann Hogrefe ... Junior setter Ashley Borchers and junior outside hitter Kristin Sessler also return as All-Conference players ... ONU has won 16 consecutive season opening matches, including a 3-0 win over Thiel (Pa.) last season ... The match at Denison will mark the first time since 2003 that ONU has not opened its season at home, and will be the first time since 2004 that the Polar Bears will not open their season by hosting the annual ONU Invitational ... Ohio Northern will play host to DePauw (Ind.) in the 37th annual ONU Invitational on Friday, before playing at the Bluffton Spiketacular on Saturday.
