Three named All-Great Lakes Region in Women's Outdoor Track and Field by USTFCCCA

ADA — Three Ohio Northern student/athletes were named All-Great Lakes Region in women's outdoor track and field for 2021 by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Senior Stella DeWitt (Weston/Cardinal Stritch, junior Kayla Silva (Westerville/South) and sophomore Anna Schatzle (Brookville, Ind./Franklin County) all earned the honor.
DeWitt was named All-Region in the long jump, where she is ranked fourth in the region and 27th nationally with a season-best distance of 5.60 meters.
Silva earned the honor in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes.
She is ranked third in the region and 42nd nationally with a school record :12.25 clocking in the 100. In the 200, her school record time of :25.45 is fifth of the region and 67th nationally.
Schatzle is fifth in the region and 26th nationally in the pole vault with a height of 11' 9" (3.58 meters).
DeWitt and Silva were also named All-Region for the indoor season this winter.
