Women's Track & Field concludes regular season with Mount Union Last Chance Meet

ALLIANCE — The Ohio Northern Women's Track and Field team wrapped up the regular season in the Mount Union Last Chance Meet Wednesday afternoon at Mount Union Stadium.
Four Polar Bears participated in the meet, attempting to improve their season-best times and qualify for the NCAA III Championships May 27-29 at Greensboro, N.C.
Junior Kayla Silva (Westerville/South) won the 100, tying her school record of 12.25 seconds.
Senior Stella DeWitt (Weston/Cardinal Stritch) was runner-up in the long jump with a best of 5.31 meters and took fifth in the triple jump at 10.59 meters.
Sophomore Anna Schatzle (Brookville, Ind./Franklin County) finished second in the pole vault with a 3.58-meter vault.
Freshman Natalie Garrett (Columbus/Bishop Watterson) placed fourth in the hammer throw with a best throw of 44.38 meters.
Tuesday May 25th, the field for the NCAA III Championships will be announced.
