Saturday's Preview: Senior national champion Emily Richards will represent the No. 7-ranked Ohio Northern women's track and field team on Saturday afternoon at the Camel City Elite Races in Winston-Salem, N.C. ... Richards will compete in the 800-meter elite race after accepting a bid to compete in the prestigious race ... The senior enters the race with the fastest seed time among five collegiate runners ... Richards is the only Division III athlete in the race, while the rest of the field is composed of four Division I athletes and three professional runners ... Emily will make her 2018 debut on the track after sitting out the first two meets of the season ... "Emily has been on a big stage like this before," said head coach Jason Maus. "This race will be a very good 800-meter debut for her this year. Her training up to this point has gone really well and she looks very good. Emily is really looking forward to this meet. This kind of a meet is a great opportunity not only for her, but for Division III in general. She is representing Ohio Northern and the Division III level really well and that's always a plus in these types of meets."
