Preview: The Ohio Northern women's outdoor track and field team is set to wrap up its regular season as it competes at the Gregory Invitational, hosted by North Central (Ill.) College in Naperville, Ill. ... The Polar Bears return to Naperville after competing in the Dr. Keeler Invitational a week ago ... In the meet, seniors Kendra Paul and Kelsey Commager each set school records to lead Northern ... Paul finished third overall in the javelin throw and posted a new school record in the javelin with a toss of 138' 1" ... Paul's throw broke a 34-year old mark and beat the record by more than seven feet ... The throw currently ranks 13th nationally ... Commager also posted a school record and competed in the triple jump, posting a fourth place finish with a school-record leap of 38' 4" ... Junior Emily Richards currently owns the fastest time nationally in the 800-meter run and the 1,500-meter run ... Paul currently ranks 16th nationally in the javelin, while Commager ranks 18th nationally in the triple jump ... Sophomore pole vaulter Maddy Reed currently owns the second best jump nationally.
