No. 12 Women's Outdoor Track & Field to compete in Dr. Keeler Invitational

Preview: The Polar Bears enter this weeks event after claiming the Ohio Athletic Conference Title two weeks ago ... Northern was idle last week ... At the OAC Championships, the Polar Bears broke four school records fall ... Sophomore Maddy Reed broke the school record and claimed the pole vault title, clearing 13' 0.25" and giving her the second best vault in the country ... Senior Rebecca Olashuk was named OAC Champ in the hammer throw as she won the event with a school record toss of 163' 2.00" ... The 4x800-meter relay team of seniors Nicole Huber and Genevieve Marchese, junior Emily Richards and sophomore Avery Ewing won the event and set a new school record in 9:19.47 ... The 4x400-meter relay team of senior Meagan Ellinger and Michelle Mosler, Richards and Ewing sealed the victory for ONU as they shattered the school record and claimed first place in the event in 3:52.96 ... Richards was also named the OAC Champ and new OAC record holder in the 800-meter and 1,500-meter runs ... Senior Kelsey Commager swept the tiple and long jump on her way to being named the OAC Female Field Athlete of the Year ... Richards was named the OAC Women's Distance Runner of the Year, while the Polar Bear coaching staff garnered Coaching Staff of the Year honors ... Richards currently owns the fastest time in the country in both the 800-meter run and 1,500-meter run and ranks 15th nationally in the 400-meter dash.
